LifeChanger Success Program Session 3 Power Boost 💥

Make a decision

If you have decisions to make, make one.  It matters less that the decision is the right one than that you make one at all and then take action and adjust according to the response.

Continue new habit “Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up” (unless CHF or kidney problems)

New Habit

Start a new habit of waking up at the exact same time every day. Work out what’s the earliest you ever HAVE TO get up on a regular basis.  Then, set your alarm for that time EVERY DAY.  Use the extra time (that you would normally have been sleeping) as self-development time.  Since this often includes life-enhancing things such as meditation, yoga, long warm bath, focusing on your goals and dreams etc., this is as refreshing as the extra sleep would have had anyway!  It’s YOUR TIME.  For now, use it to review and enhance one of your visions per day.  Focus on WHAT you want, not HOW and then work out one thing you can do in the near (specified) future from where you are with what you have that will take you in the direction of your desired future.

Daily Inspiration

Watch the Daily Inspiration in the LifeChanger app every day.  Slowly enough to read the text and bring up the appropriate feeling (gratitude, determination, courage, excitement, love).  

Consider if there’s a different image or text that might work better for you.  Note that you can also make the goals you have created, especially those with images, appear in the Daily Inspiration slideshow.  To do this, in your goal, click the menu button “…” at the top right corner and select “Edit goal”, then “Show in Daily Inspiration”.

Why do you want this?

Edit your goal using the “edit goal” button see #4.  You’ll see an area to answer the important question “Why?”.  Why do  you want this?  If you find that you want it “so that…something else”, then you should add that “something else” to the vision of what you really want.

Write two letters to yourself from yourself, 5 or 10 years from now.
First:  If I don’t make the effort to take uncomfortable action now. 
Second:  If I do everything I can to bring about my dreams.

Optional

For anyone having trouble coming up with things they want. 
Divide a piece of paper vertically down the middle.  On the left side of the paper, write down a list of things about your current state that you like or love  (preserve the present positives) and, on the right side, write down the things that you don’t like or want to change.  Then, if the things you don’t like don’t already have an equivalent in the positive column, reword them to their opposite.

E.g. change “I don’t like it when my boss/colleague shouts at me” to “I want to work with people who appreciate my contribution and treat me with respect.”

Remember the person you would love to be in a few years time IS YOU NOW.  You can feel and act like and be that person now.  This new identity is a powerful way of making the outside circumstance change to fit who you really are.
